Kristine R.

Kristine R. has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a UFT Teacher Center Site Coach since August 2022 and as a 4th Grade Teacher with the NYC Department of Education since September 2014. In the role of 4th Grade Teacher, Kristine collaborates with colleagues on lesson planning and inquiry groups while adhering to NYS Common Core Standards. Previous positions include Head Group Teacher at Bushwick United Head Start and Teacher's Assistant, where responsibilities involved developing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and strategies in compliance with various educational standards. Early career experience includes student teaching in third and kindergarten classrooms, as well as volunteer work supporting K-8 education. Kristine holds advanced certifications from The College of Saint Rose, a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Queens College, and a Bachelor's degree from SUNY New Paltz, complemented by a Regents Diploma with Honors from Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School.
