Annet Nakaganda

Principal Epidemiologist And Head Clinical Trials Unit at Uganda Cancer Institute

Annet Nakaganda is a Principal Epidemiologist and Head of the Clinical Trials Unit at Uganda Cancer Institute, where responsibilities include designing and implementing cancer control investigations and enhancing population-based cancer registration since August 2013. Previously, Annet served as a Graduate Teaching Associate at The University of Manchester from September 2016 to June 2022, focusing on course development and student facilitation. Annet's experience also includes roles such as Regulatory Affairs and Training Coordinator and Clinical Research Coordinator at the Hutchinson Center Research Institute, Medical Research Clinician at Makerere University-Johns Hopkins University Research Collaboration, and HCT Manager for Outreach Programs at AIDS Information Center-Uganda. Annet holds a PhD in Medicine and an MPH in Epidemiology from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's degree in Community Psychology from Makerere University.
