Allan Joshua Mwesiga

Allan Joshua Mwesiga has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Allan Joshua started their career at UNHCR, where they worked as a Community Services Supervisor from 2001 to 2003. Allan Joshua then moved on to Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited, where they served as a Corporate Planning Officer from 2003 to 2005. Following that, they worked at Umeme Ltd as a Human Resource Officer from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they joined KCB Bank Group as a Human Resources Manager and later became the Head of Human Resources from 2012 to 2013. Allan then joined Equity Bank Limited as a General Manager of Human Resources from 2013 to 2017. Currently, they are working at Uganda Development Bank, where they hold the position of Director of Strategy & Corporate Affairs. In this role, they are responsible for managing various functions such as Human Resources, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Affairs, Impact Delivery, Economics & Research, and Procurement & Administration. Allan's main focus is to maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and ensure the alignment of the Bank's resources and processes with its long-term financial and sustainability goals.

Allan Joshua Mwesiga has pursued various academic and professional qualifications throughout their educational history. Allan Joshua holds an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Modern Management & Administration from Cambridge International College. Furthermore, they have acquired a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Strategic HR Management from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Prior to that, Allan completed their Bachelor of Social Sciences with a specialization in Economics from Makerere University. Additionally, they attended Namilyango College; however, no specific degree or field of study is provided for this institution.
