Gilbert John Kimanzi

Eng. Gilbert John KIMANZI is a Water Supply, Sanitation and Institutional Specialist with more than twenty-seven (27) years of experience in the water and sanitation sector. He holds a MSc in Water and Waste Engineering from Loughborough University, UK and BSc in Civil Engineering from Makerere University. Eng. Kimanzi has served in various capacities and is currently serving as Assistant Commissioner (Planning and Quality Assurance) at Water for Production at the Ministry of Water and Environment.

He is 52 years of age and has served as an Independent Non-Executive Director in UEGCL for three years since 24th November 2016. He is the Chairperson of the Technical Committee and the Human Resources, Compensation and Planning Committee of the Board.
