Barbara Okot

Barbara Okot is an accomplished Human Resource professional with extensive experience in the public sector. Currently serving as the Acting Senior Human Resource Officer at the Uganda National Roads Authority since March 2016, Barbara has held various titles within the organization, including Senior Human Resource Officer and Human Resource Officer. Prior to joining UNRA, Barbara worked as a Medical Social Worker at Mulago National Referral Hospital under the Ministry of Health Uganda from October 2007 to March 2016, where responsibilities included psychosocial support, counseling, and needs assessment. Barbara's educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Gloucestershire, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute, an Advanced Diploma in Sports Management from Uganda Olympic Committee, and a Master’s in Public Health from Makerere University School of Public Health.
