Lazarus Opolot

Lazarus Opolot is a seasoned professional in the field of finance and auditing, currently serving as a Domestic Taxes Officer at the Uganda Revenue Authority since March 2020. Prior to this role, Lazarus held the position of Audit Manager at Nexia International from 2017 to March 2020, where responsibilities included audit planning, execution, supervision, staff training, and tax advisory. Early career experience encompasses roles as an Audit Senior and Accountant, showcasing a robust background in financial reporting and detailed audit procedures. Lazarus holds a CPA from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and completed further leadership training at the National Leadership Institute. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Makerere University Business School and specialized training in internal monitoring, enhancing expertise in accounting, tax, and audit functions.
