Robert Mutebi

Robert Mutebi is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in digital transformation and IT strategy across various sectors. Currently serving as Commissioner of Information Technology & Innovations at Uganda Revenue Authority since December 2021, Robert leads initiatives to enhance revenue administration through advanced technology solutions. Previous roles include Head of Business Technology at dfcu Bank, where Robert oversaw IT systems and cybersecurity, and a period as an Independent Consultant focused on digitization and technology strategy in multiple industries. With a robust background at MTN, including Senior Manager of Technology Solutions, Robert has extensive experience in infrastructure investment and solution design. Robert holds an MBA from the University of Leicester and a Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business, among other degrees in telecom technology and electrical engineering.
