Winiefred Akinyi

Winiefred Akinyi is a skilled media management officer at the Uganda Revenue Authority since June 2022. Previously, Winiefred served as an account manager at Mcash Uganda Ltd from August 2017 to May 2019, focusing on the Enterprise for Development Assistance project to digitalize VSLA operations and establish connections with banks. Winiefred gained experience as a field officer trainee at the United Nations Capital Development Fund in early 2017, specializing in digital financial services and e-payments for financial inclusion. Prior roles include administrative assistant at Women In Technology Uganda and mentor at BRAC Uganda. Winiefred holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications from Makerere University, completed in 2016.
