Jay Long is an experienced Project Engineer currently working at UGL since August 2021, focusing on significant infrastructure projects such as the West Gate Tunnel and M6 Stage 1 Motorway, where responsibilities include overseeing construction delivery of cable containment and electrical packages. Prior to this, Jay served as an Electrical Engineer at Aurecon from February 2018 to August 2021, contributing to rail and transmission infrastructure projects, notably designing low voltage upgrades at Newcastle Substation. Previous roles include Modernisation Sales Engineer at Liftronic Pty Limited and Sales Engineer at Refrigeration Distributors P/L. Jay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney and participated in a Global Exchange program at Sophia University from 2016 to 2017.
