Steve Wood

Steve Wood is an experienced commercial and contracts manager with a proven track record in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Commercial Manager at UGL and a Contracts Manager at Seconded since October 2021, Steve has previously held significant roles such as Contracts Manager and Contracts Lead for major projects with National Oil/Petroleum Companies and Chevron, where responsibilities included managing high-value contracts and procurement strategies. With a career spanning from 1992 to the present, Steve has amassed extensive expertise in contracts management across various renowned companies, including Shell, Woodside Energy, and Bechtel Corporation, overseeing pivotal projects such as the Gorgon Expansion and Al-Zour New Refinery Project. Educationally, Steve holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying from Liverpool Polytechnic.
