Amber Romero

Amber Romero is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade in various legal roles. Currently, Amber serves as Senior Associate General Counsel at UnitedHealth Group, where responsibilities include providing legal support for pre-litigation and litigation matters, mergers and acquisitions, transactions, employment issues, medical malpractice, and risk management, while also fulfilling the role of Board of Directors Secretary. Prior to this position, Amber was Corporate Counsel at Apria Healthcare and worked as an Attorney at the Law Offices of Tina Locklear, gaining experience in project management, legal research, and drafting motions. Amber's prior roles also include serving as National Contracts Manager at Assurant Health and Contracts Specialist at Focus Diagnostics, where tasks involved developing vendor relationships and negotiating various agreements. Amber holds a Juris Doctor degree from Western State College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
