Steven Angelo M.D.

Steven Angelo MD, FACP is a seasoned medical leader currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer for Medicare and Retirement in the Northeast Region at UnitedHealth Group, overseeing quality and satisfaction for over 600,000 Medicare Advantage members. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Medical Officer at CareMedica, where responsibilities encompassed optimizing clinical services and patient satisfaction, and as VP for Medical Affairs at Masonicare, managing a diverse team of over 40 medical providers. Steven also served as Chief of Hospitalist Services at Hospital of Saint Raphael, leading a team of daytime hospitalists, and practiced as an internist at Internal Medicine of Clinton. Additionally, Steven held a faculty position at the Department of Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital, contributing to the education and supervision of internal medicine residents. Educational credentials include an MD from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a BS in Biology from Fairfield University, along with an ongoing role as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Frank Netter School of Medicine, Quinnipiac University.
