Sumesh Nair

Sumesh Nair is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in data analytics and cloud strategy. Since October 2008, Sumesh has served as the Director of Engineering, Data & Cloud Strategy at UnitedHealth Group, where responsibilities include leading the development of predictive modeling pipelines and leveraging patient data for AI/ML models that forecast disease outcomes. Previous roles at UnitedHealth Group include Delivery Owner/Manager for Cloud Infrastructure/Services and Manager, focusing on creating scalable cloud solutions and managing rule development teams. Prior to this, Sumesh was a Delivery Lead at Cognizant Technology Solutions, overseeing software development for a health insurance provider. Sumesh holds a Master of Science in Data Analytics and an MBA in Information Technology from Western Governors University, as well as a Bachelor of Science & Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
