Catherine Collin is a Senior Lecturer in Optometry at The University of Manchester, with additional roles as a Conference Abstract Reviewer for AMEE and an External Examiner for UHI Inverness. Catherine serves on the Appeals Panel and is a member of the ESR SPOKE writing group for the College of Optometrists. With a background that includes senior lecturer positions in Medical Education and Optometry at the University of Central Lancashire, Catherine has contributed to various committees and initiatives within the General Optical Council and has experience as a CPD Writer and Examiner in MECS and Glaucoma. Catherine holds a Doctor of Optometry and multiple certifications in optometry and medical education, alongside recognitions such as the Student Led Golden Roses Award for Creative Teaching in 2021.
