Leslie Robbins

Leslie Robbins is an experienced Medical Social Worker at University Hospitals since February 2017, contributing to the care transitions department by developing safe discharge plans in collaboration with patients, families, medical teams, and community providers. Leslie has a background in behavioral medicine, serving as an Assessment and Referral Counselor at UHS since August 2014, as well as previous roles including Social Worker II on the Emergency Psychiatric Assessment Team. Additional experience includes providing psychosocial support as a Child Life Specialist at Johns Hopkins Hospital and working with bereaved families at Akron Children’s Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Cleveland State University, a Master of Arts in Child Life from The University of Akron, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The Ohio State University.
