Melanie Schoof

Melanie Schoof currently serves as Vice President of Payer Strategies at UHS since July 2023. Prior to this role, Melanie held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Payer Engagement and Managed Care Contracting at HCA from February 2017 to July 2023, and Director of Managed Care Contracting at Sentara Healthcare from September 2013 to February 2017. Earlier experience includes roles as Director of Provider Contracting at Humana and Regional Director of Network Management for Virginia and North Carolina at Arcadian Health Plan. Melanie's career also features positions at McBee Associates as Manager and WellPoint as Network Manager, as well as an administrative residency at HCA. Melanie holds a Master's degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
