Richard Stanley

Richard has a wealth of experience in tax including several years in the Inland Revenue. He joined UHY as tax partner in our Nottingham office after 20 years as a Partner at Midlands accountancy firm Smith Cooper. He has also worked for Grant Thornton and PKF over a career spanning more than 30 years.

Richard specialises in tax planning for individuals and owner-managed businesses. He has advised on a range of issues from company reorganisations, shareholder disputes and inheritance tax through to all aspects of personal tax planning. He is a trustee of one of the largest privately funded grant giving charities in Nottingham.

In his spare time Richard enjoys clay pigeon shooting and walking with the dogs.
