Omer Subhani

Omer Subhani has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Omer started their career as a Teaching Assistant at FIU Dept. of History, where they managed a team of teaching assistants and supported undergraduate students in World History survey courses.

Omer then worked as a Legal Fellow at Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida and the Florida Department of Children & Families, where they assisted low-income clients with family law issues and developed and implemented a guardianship program for aging foster care clients.

Subhani also gained legal experience as a Law Clerk at the US DOJ Community Relations Service, where they conducted legal research, drafted memos, and assisted with mediation and conflict resolution efforts.

In 2012, Subhani joined Sandala Productions as an Operations Manager, overseeing sales and operations and managing social media efforts to increase the company's internet presence.

Since 2014, Subhani has been working at UIF Corporation. Omer started as a District Manager & Brand Manager in Florida, where they successfully managed the sales team, increased sales year over year, and received positive reviews from clients. Omer then transitioned to the role of Regional Manager in Texas, leading the sales team, recruiting and developing new sales talent, and leading marketing initiatives throughout the state.

Omer Subhani completed their Bachelor of Arts in History from Florida International University in 2003. Omer further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Arts in History from the same institution between the years 2004 and 2006. Omer then attended the University of Miami School of Law from 2008 to 2011, where they earned their Juris Doctor (JD) degree, specializing in Law.
