Atara Burian

Atara Burian, LMSW, is a Senior Development Executive at UJA-Federation of New York since April 2020, with previous roles as Development Executive and Program Executive within the organization. Atara's experience includes serving as a School-Based Social Worker at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services and as a Talent Development Specialist at Educational Alliance, where efforts focused on training, coaching, and enhancing staff effectiveness. Diverse social work internships have included working with at-risk students, survivors of domestic violence, and youth in communal settings. Atara holds a Master of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Yeshiva University.
