Ajit Desai

Ajit Desai has a diverse work experience in the banking and financial industry. Ajit is currently working as the Regional Head - West - Current Accounts at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Equitas Small Finance Bank from October 2016 to August 2023 as the Vice President & Regional Business Manager.

From June 2013 to September 2016, Ajit worked at Ing Vysya Bank (now Kotak Mahindra Bank) as AVP & Branch Head. Ajit also had roles as Regional Business Manager from April 2012 to June 2013, and as Area Wealth Head from August 2008 to March 2012 at the same company.

Before Ing Vysya Bank, Ajit worked at Axis Bank as Deputy Manager from 2006 to 2008 and at Centurion Bank of Punjab Limited as a Relationship Manager from August 2006 to March 2007. Their earliest work experience in the industry was at HDFC Life where they worked as a Sales Development Manager from May 2005 to July 2006.

From 1999 to 2002, Ajit Desai attended Ness Wadia College of Commerce, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in the field of Commerce.
