Andrea Hughes is an experienced educator with a focus on English as a Second Language and Brazilian Portuguese instruction. Currently serving as an English Second Language Teacher at Norwood Morialta High School and as a Language Specialist at U Speak, Andrea has been involved with the Department for Education as an EAL teacher since January 2014. As the Principal and Founder of the Brazilian Ethnic School of SA, Andrea promotes Brazilian language and culture among students. Additionally, Andrea held the position of Chairperson for the Latin American Society of South Australia from June 2024 to April 2025 and worked as a teacher/lecturer at TAFE SA from January 2012 to December 2013. Andrea holds a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from Unemat.
