Andrew Darby

Andrew Darby currently serves as the Deputy Director of Communications for News and Social Media at the Department for Education, a position held since May 2022. Prior experience includes leading communications for the UK Home Office, focusing on campaigns for vulnerable individuals, such as those affected by domestic abuse and child exploitation, from May 2016 to May 2022. Additional roles include various positions at 10 Downing Street, Reed Smith LLP, Withers & Rogers LLP, the Industry and Parliament Trust, and Scope. Andrew holds a BA in History from The University of Sheffield and has a background in corporate communications and parliamentary engagement.
