Jennifer Tankard

Jennifer Tankard is a seasoned professional in commercial finance, advocacy, and communications, currently serving as Principal for Commercial Finance and Invoice Finance and Asset-Based Lending at UK Finance since August 2019. With a wealth of experience, Jennifer has also held the position of Director at the Community Investment Coalition, overseeing impactful initiatives such as securing bank lending data transparency in the UK and facilitating significant fundraising efforts. Previously, as Chief Executive of Responsible Finance, Jennifer led a network dedicated to fair finance access across the UK. Jennifer's extensive background includes directing advocacy and research at the Community Development Foundation, managing communication strategies at the Improvement and Development Agency, and various roles focusing on public relations and policy development. Jennifer holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MSc in Crisis & Disaster Management from the University of Portsmouth and an MSc in British Politics & Administration from Birkbeck, University of London.
