Ami Shaw Piccirilli

Ami Shaw Piccirilli has extensive experience in communications and media. Ami is currently the Director of Pharmacy Communications at UK HealthCare since March 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Kentucky for 13 years as the External Communications Manager for UK HealthCare. Ami also served as the Communications/Publications Director at Eastern Kentucky University from 2002 to 2006. Ami began their career at the Lexington Herald-Leader, where they held various positions including Communities Editor and Copy Editor.

Ami Shaw Piccirilli earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Iowa in the period from 1987 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended Western Kentucky University from 1985 to 1987, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study.
