Leann Barber

Graduate Medical Education Director at UK HealthCare

LeAnn Barber has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. LeAnn began their career in 2005 as the Cease Fire Coordinator at the Commonwealth Attorney's Office. In the same year, they also worked as the Bioterrorism Coordinator at LFUCG. From 2006 to 2008, LeAnn served as the Hospital Preparedness Program Coordinator at the Kentucky Department for Public Health. In 2008, they joined the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates as the Client Services Coordinator, a position they held until 2013. LeAnn then joined the University of Kentucky HealthCare, where they initially served as the Graduate Medical Education - Accreditation Manager from 2013 to 2014. LeAnn later became the Graduate Medical Education Director, a role they continue to hold.

LeAnn Barber obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky in 1999-2003. LeAnn went on to pursue a Master of Public Administration degree in Public Administration from the same institution in 2003-2005. Later, they completed their Master of Health Administration degree at the University of Kentucky from 2013-2016.
