Chaminda Karunatilake CEng has extensive experience in cable system design engineering. Chaminda started their career in 2007 at Balfour Beatty plc, where they were responsible for designing high voltage and extra high voltage power cable systems. In 2012, they joined Atkins as an Electricity Transmission Design Engineer, working on HV cable system projects. Chaminda then moved to ABB in 2013, where they worked as an HV Cable System Design Engineer, involved in designing cable systems from tender to detail design stage. Currently, they are working at UK Power Networks as a Cable Design Engineer/Project Lead Designer.

Chaminda Karunatilake CEng has a solid education background with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Power (P/T) from the University of Greenwich, which was attained from 2008 to 2011.
