Stathis Mokkas

Stathis Mokkas has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Stathis currently holds the position of Energy Markets Lead, Asset Management at UK Power Networks since 2018. Previously, they worked at Ofgem from 2011 to 2017, where they held the roles of Senior Manager in Electricity System Framework and RIIO Gas & Electricity Networks. In these positions, they led the review of energy companies' business plans, advised Ofgem's Board, and produced consultation/decision documents. From 2008 to 2011, Stathis worked at Copelouzos Group as Operations Director/Business Development Manager, overseeing multiple subsidiaries and leading various business development activities. Prior to that, they worked as a Contract Administrator at Penspen, providing project management services to the Greek Natural Gas Public Company and Transmission Operator. Stathis also worked as an External Board Consultant at Advantica in 2005 and as a Project Engineer at DeepSea Engineering from 2002 to 2004.

Stathis Mokkas completed their MSc in Composite Materials from Imperial College in the year 2002. Stathis then pursued an MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and successfully graduated in 2005.
