James Knights

Performance Data Lead at UK Sports Institute

James Knights has a diverse work experience in data analysis and research. James started their career as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Essex, where they conducted a research project on environmental conservation. James then worked as a Research and Insight Analyst at Archery GB, where they analyzed global archery data and compiled performance data for the Olympic Squad. Following that, they joined Goodform as an Audience Insight Analyst, assisting global sports clients in maximizing their data and providing fan insights. Currently, James is working as the Performance Data Lead at UK Sports Institute.

James Knights has a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Essex, obtained between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Caludon Castle School for high school education from 2008 to 2013. James also holds a Master's degree in Sports Biomechanics from Loughborough University, obtained in 2018. Additionally, they have certifications as a Level 2 REPS Gym Instructor from the Register of Exercise Professionals, obtained in 2015, and as a SAQ Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach from SAQ International®, obtained in 2012.
