Ahmad Taha

Ahmad Taha, PhD, is an accomplished academic and engineer with extensive experience in higher education, advisory roles, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as an Inaugural Member of the UK Young Academy and Academic Advisor for the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, Ahmad also holds positions as a Lecturer and Research Associate at the University of Glasgow. Ahmad co-founded Short Circuit Designs Co. Ltd., which focuses on developing low-cost embedded systems for educational and commercial use. Other roles include Energy Manager at the University of Southampton and Visiting Professor at Shanghai Jian Qiao University. Ahmad possesses a PhD from the University of Greenwich, with a focus on using persuasive technology to promote pro-environmental behavior in healthcare settings, and has held various academic and research positions across multiple institutions.
