Sivaneswary Genapathy

Sivaneswary Genapathy currently serves as a Member of the UK Young Academy since January 2023 and holds the position of Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, a role commenced in April 2019, following previous titles of Scientist I and Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes positions as Scientist I and Associate Scientist II at MedImmune from February 2016 to April 2019, and as a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham from July 2015 to January 2016. Sivaneswary was a Visiting Researcher at Humboldt University of Berlin in March 2013 and completed pre-registration pharmacist training at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust and GlaxoSmithKline in 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy and a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) from the University of Nottingham, as well as a brief tenure as a Visiting Researcher in Biochemistry at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
