Bob Lavigna, IPMA-HR SCP, is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in public sector employee engagement and talent management. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow - Public Sector at UKG, Lavigna advocates for effective practices to enhance government workforce strategies. Previously, Lavigna was the Founding Director of the Institute for Public Sector Employee Engagement at CPS HR Consulting, where initiatives focused on measuring and improving employee engagement. Lavigna also held roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including Adjunct Associate Professor and Assistant Vice Chancellor and Director of HR, alongside a significant tenure at the Partnership for Public Service, directing research on talent management in government. Early career accomplishments include directing the State of Wisconsin Merit System and contributing to the US Government Accountability Office in various capacities. Lavigna holds a Master's in Human Resource Management from Cornell University and a Bachelor's in Public Affairs from The George Washington University.
