Derek Amoroso

Derek Amoroso, CPA, is an experienced financial professional currently holding the position of Lead Internal Auditor at UKG since October 2020, after previously serving as a Senior Internal Auditor. Prior to UKG, Derek worked as a Senior Operations Accountant at Nuance Communications and gained substantial experience at Citrin Cooperman as a Senior Audit Associate and Semi-senior Audit Associate. Derek's career began at Novogradac & Company LLP as a Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant, following a college internship at Northwestern Mutual, where responsibilities included reviewing clients' financial well-being and selling insurance products. Derek holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Saint Anselm College.
