Simo Miettinen

Simo Miettinen has had a long and varied career. Simo began their professional journey in 2002 as a Summer Trainee at Elcoteq. In 2003, they moved to Okmetic Oyj as a Production Planner. In 2004, they worked as a Master's thesis worker and Research assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology. In 2007, they were Service Manager at Mobilus Oy. In 2009, they moved to Lynxnet Oy as a Technical Support Specialist. In 2012, they were Project Coordinator at Datame Palvelut Oy. Finally, in 2014, they became Network Engineer and NOC Team Leader at Ukkoverkot Oy, where they monitored and maintained a nationwide 4G LTE network, defined and developed operating procedures for the NOC team, and coordinated the duty shift table for NOC operations.

Simo Miettinen earned a Master of Science in Electronics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan between 1998 and 2005.
