Juliya Wicklund

Juliya Wicklund has a diverse work experience, starting as an English Teacher at Yorkville CUSD #115 from 2007 to 2012. Juliya then worked as an English Teacher at The Harker School from 2014 to 2016. Juliya also served as a Curriculum Design Intern at the CEDER Center for Education Design, Evaluation, and Research at the University of Michigan in 2019. Juliya subsequently became an English Teacher & Advisor at Greenhills School from 2019 to 2022. In 2022, Juliya co-founded Ukraine TrustChain and currently holds the position of Co-Founder. Additionally, they are currently working as the America Reads Manager at the University of Michigan since September 2022.

Juliya Wicklund obtained a Bachelor's degree with High Honors in English, French, and Russian Literatures and Languages | Secondary Education from Northern Illinois University, where they attended from 2002 to 2007. In 2005, they studied abroad at the University of Pau and Adour Countries, focusing on French Language and Literature. Juliya later pursued a Master's degree in Education at the University of Michigan from 2018 to 2019. Juliya also obtained a Professional Educator License in Education from the State of Illinois in May 2007.
