Helga Basiuk is currently the Head Of Communication at USAID and works as a Producer, Interviewer, and Screenwriter at Ukrainer. Previously, Helga served as a PR marketing specialist at Intergal-Bud, a journalist at 1+1 media, a News Anchor at ТОВ "ВоБУ", and a journalist at ПравдаТУТ. Helga holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the Ukrainian Catholic University, a Master's degree in Economics of Environment and Natural Resources from ЛНАУ, and a Bachelor's degree in Land Management and Cadastre from ЛНАУ.

Ukraїner is a community and organization founded in 2016 that studies Ukraine and the Ukrainian context, tells stories to Ukrainians themselves, and broadcasts these stories to the world by translating them into dozens of languages. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukraїner restarted all its communication channels, talking about the war and the ways to overcome the disasters caused by the Russian occupiers. Stories about the strength of Ukrainians and their resistance told in different languages on different platforms have become one of our top priorities.
