Valentyn O. Nebukin has a diverse work experience starting in 2004. They began their career as a Consultant and Assistant consultant at the "Business Re-Engineering Group" consulting company. In 2006, they worked as a Senior Consultant at the "Brig-Retail" consulting company. From 2006 to 2015, Valentyn held various roles at The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine (Ukreximbank), including Deputy Head of Management Accounting and Head of Banking-book Transactions Analysis. In 2015, they joined Ukrgasbank as Deputy Head of Products in SME and later became the Head of Business Planning & Analysis in SME. Currently, Valentyn is the Head of Business Planning, Analysis & Support in SME at JSC Ukreximbank.

Valentyn O. Nebukin's education history starts in 1989 when they attended the International Relations Lyceum (51) and earned a gold medal. During this time, they studied English, Mathematics, Physics, and Economics. From 1999 to 2005, Nebukin attended Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where they earned both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, and IT. In 2004, they were a visiting student at Charles University, focusing on Finance, Banking, and Risk Management. Nebukin pursued a Ph.D. at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2005 to 2010, specializing in Mathematical methods, models, and information technologies in economics. Additionally, they participated in workshops and conferences, such as the Conference on Liquidity Management & Workshop on Transfer Pricing organized by Fleming Europe in Vienna, Austria in 2013. Nebukin also attended a workshop on Bank Asset and Liability Management conducted by the Financial Technology Transfer Agency in Luxembourg in 2010.
