Sayon Deb

Sayon Deb is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, strategy, and policy analysis across diverse sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Insights at UL Standards & Engagement since July 2023, Sayon previously held the position of Senior Director of Innovation Strategy at the American Bankers Association from May 2022 to June 2023. Prior roles include Manager & Senior Analyst at the Consumer Technology Association, where involvement centered on market trends and innovation in the consumer technology field, and Associate Research Director at 451 Research, focusing on connected consumer insights for Fortune 100 companies. Sayon's academic background includes a Master's degree in Economics from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Syracuse University, along with research experience at Harvard University and contributions to agricultural policy at the International Food Policy Research Institute. Additionally, Sayon co-founded a project in Kenya aimed at enhancing educational resources through innovative partnerships.
