Andrew Cardwell is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Global Cybersecurity Defense Manager at UL Solutions since March 2017, Andrew leads strategic development and operations of Cyber Defense services while implementing data loss prevention strategies. Previously, as Global Cybersecurity Defense Manager, Andrew established and led a comprehensive Cyber Defense function, enhancing security for over 16,000 employees worldwide. Andrew's expertise also includes directing cybersecurity operations for multiple European offices, achieving key compliance certifications, and driving security improvements that accelerated business growth for the UL360 SaaS platform. Andrew's career started in operational risk management, fostering stability and resilience during significant organizational changes. With a strong educational background from the University of Hertfordshire and Cambridge Regional College, Andrew has consistently demonstrated a commitment to enhancing organizational security and compliance throughout a diverse career spanning nearly three decades.
