Leslie Peterson M.s.

Leslie Peterson, M.S., CIH, currently serves as Director of Global Environment, Health and Safety at UL since September 2021 and previously held similar roles at Vyaire Medical and Shire Pharmaceuticals. With extensive experience in EHS management, Leslie has overseen corporate-wide safety initiatives at U.S. Cellular and led various EHS programs at Motorola Solutions across multiple regions. Leslie has a strong background in industrial hygiene and safety, evidenced by a significant reduction in injuries and illnesses during tenure at Motorola, and achieving OSHA's VPP STAR status. Leslie holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Management with a specialization in Industrial Safety from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health - Industrial Hygiene from Illinois State University.
