Parker Smith

Parker Smith is currently a Product Specialist at UL Solutions, a position held since April 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Group Lead and Research Engineer at Southwest Research Institute from May 2019 to March 2025, where management of multidisciplinary teams focused on energy storage developmental testing across various applications, as well as collaboration on advanced vehicle connection projects and research in cylinder deactivation technology. Earlier roles include Engineer and Student Intern at the same institute, Quality Engineering Intern at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, and Suspension Lead at Hilltop Motorsports. Parker holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, earned in May 2019.
