Angela Barr, CPA

Angela Barr, CPA, has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles.

From 1990 to 1996, they worked at Comerica Bank as a Department Assistant in Commercial Lending, where they prepared commercial loan committee packages and performed financial statement analyses.

From 1996 to 1999, they worked at CoverX Corporation as an Accountant, responsible for preparing statutory financial statements, conducting account reconciliations, and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

From 1999 to 2002, Angela served as an Accounting Supervisor at Visual Services Inc., where they performed month-end consolidation of financial statements, assisted in preparing SEC filings, and reconciled general ledger accounts.

In 2002, they joined Hudson & Muma as a Controller, overseeing monthly financial transactions, managing external audits, and handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and banking activities.

From 2003 to 2015, Angela worked at Brown & Brown in various roles. As an Accounting Operations Leader (AOL), they were responsible for accounting and financial reporting for multiple branches. Angela achieved high scores on internal audits and served as an accounting trainer for new AOLs. Later, they became a Regional Operations Supervisor, ensuring compliance and providing training and management to direct reports.

Since 2017, Angela has been with Ulliance, Inc., first as Director of Finance & HR and now as Chief Financial Officer.

Angela Barr, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in Accounting from Walsh College between 1991 and 1996. Prior to that, between 1988 and 1990, they attended Central Michigan University, although their degree and field of study during that time are unknown.
