March Gallagher

March Gallagher serves as the Comptroller for Ulster County, having held the position since November 2019, and is currently the Comptroller-Elect. Prior to this role, March led the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley as President & CEO, overseeing significant growth in assets and grantmaking. March's extensive experience includes strategic leadership at Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress and various roles within Ulster County, including Director of Business Services. March has also contributed to the Ulster County Industrial Development Agency and practiced law as an attorney. Educational qualifications include a JD from Boston University School of Law, an MS in Environmental Studies from Bard College, and additional degrees in Public Policy and Management.
