Dr. Conor Murray is a lecturer in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Ulster University, with experience teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses since September 2014. With a PhD focused on the needs and experiences of young men in Hydebank Wood, Dr. Murray has contributed to academic discourse regarding this demographic within the Northern Ireland prison system. In addition to academic roles, volunteer work includes serving as an Independent Visitor for NIACRO, providing support for young people in the care system, and involvement as a youth worker and football coach at Rosario Youth Football Club. Previous experience as a Research Consultant at Perceptive Insight Market Research Limited includes extensive data collection and analysis for diverse clientele. Dr. Murray holds a PhD in Criminal Justice and completed both a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in related fields from Ulster University and Queen's University Belfast.
