Justin Magee

Justin Magee is a seasoned academic and professional in the fields of art and design, currently serving as the Research Director for Art & Design at Ulster University since August 2017. Previously, Magee held the position of Interim Associate Dean for Research & Impact (AHSS) at the same institution, overseeing the alignment of research objectives with strategic goals from July 2021 to July 2022. With extensive design experience, Magee's roles have included a product designer for notable companies like Smart MCC, Porsche, LEGO Systems, and as a senior designer at GE Plastics. Magee's educational background includes a PhD in 3D Digital Modelling of Spinal Posture and various degrees from Ulster University and Coventry University, contributing to a robust foundation in design and research.
