Martin Estes Pe

Martin Estes, PE has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Martin is currently working at Ulteig as a Senior Engineer since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Westwood Professional Services, where they held multiple positions including Lead Engineer from November 2021 to August 2022, Project Manager from April 2021 to November 2021, and Project Engineer from February 2016 to April 2021. Martin also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from August 2014 to May 2015. Before that, they worked at Dream Design International, Inc. as a Project Engineer/Project Coordinator from December 2012 to August 2014. Martin gained experience as a Project Intern at The Opus Group® from May 2012 to September 2012 and as a Project Management Intern at Haldeman-Homme, Inc from January 2012 to April 2012. Martin started their career as a Construction Intern at the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities from May 2011 to December 2011 and earlier as an UnderConstruction Intern at Construction Careers Coalition from June 2007 to August 2008.

Martin Estes, PE obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota Mines, completing it from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their educational background, Estes has obtained several certifications. In 2007, they obtained a 10 Hour certification from OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and in 2011, they obtained a 30 Hour certification from the same institution. Furthermore, they earned a Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification from the American Concrete Institute in 2015. Finally, Estes became a Professional Engineer, certified by the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID, in June 2017.
