Substation Structural Design Engineer at Ulteig

Sam Turner has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. They began as a Warehouse Manager at Winnelson Plumbing Co, where they managed the warehouse and performed tasks such as delivery, customer service, and quote analysis. In 2017, Sam worked as an Intern at CIVIL ENGINEERING PROFESSIONALS, INC. They then joined the University of Washington in 2015, first as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences, and later as an Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistant in the Structural Research Laboratory. Their roles included lab assistance, construction of specimens, and experimental work. From 2020 to 2022, Sam worked at Coughlin Porter Lundeen as a Structural Staff Engineer. Currently, they are working at Ulteig as a Substation Structural Design Engineer since August 2022.

Sam Turner attended Natrona County High School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained an IB Diploma. They then went on to the University of Washington, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, Sam continued their education at the University of Washington and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Structural Engineering from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, in August 2018, they obtained the certification of Engineer In Training from the Wyoming Board for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.
