Ariel Jaimovich

Ariel Jaimovich has extensive experience in the field of bioinformatics and genomics. They currently hold the role of Senior Director, R&D Integration at Ultima Genomics since July 2023. Prior to this, Ariel worked as the Director of Bioinformatics at Ultima Genomics from December 2021 to July 2023. Before joining Ultima Genomics, Ariel held various positions at Guardant Health, including Director of Bioinformatics from April 2021 to January 2022, Associate Director of Bioinformatics from April 2019 to April 2021, Manager of Bioinformatics from April 2018 to April 2019, and Senior Bioinformatics Data Scientist from September 2016 to March 2018. They also worked briefly at Driver Group, L.L.C. as Computational Biologist, Head of Advanced Genomics from March 2016 to July 2016. Ariel's academic background includes a PhD in a relevant field from Hebrew University, where they were a PhD student from January 2005 to December 2010. They also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University, working on the examination of single-cell decision-making mechanisms and cell cycle commitment from July 2013 to May 2016, as well as from January 2011 to June 2013.

Ariel Jaimovich obtained a PhD in Computer Science and Computational Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completing their studies from 2000 to 2010.
