Elan Shatoff

Elan Shatoff is a Bioinformatics Scientist at Ultima Genomics since October 2021. Prior to this role, Elan served as a Graduate Research Associate and Graduate Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University from August 2016 to July 2021, where responsibilities included teaching over 100 undergraduate students in introductory physics, addressing inquiries during lab and office hours, and adapting instructional strategies for diverse learning styles. Elan also completed a Variant Science Ph.D. Internship at Tempus Labs, Inc. in June 2020. Elan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from The Ohio State University (2016-2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Brandeis University (2012-2016).
