Joanie Maro

Joanie Maro has over six years of work experience in the travel industry. Joanie started their career as a Product Manager at Classic Vacations in July 2015 and worked there until August 2021. In November 2021, they joined Ultimate Jet Vacations as a Sr. Manager, Product, and later transitioned to the role of Director, Product in April 2023.

Joanie Maro received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Egyptology from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Egyptology from The University of Manchester. Joanie then pursued a TEFL/TESOL Certification from iTTT International TEFL and TESOL Training in 2014. Joanie later obtained the CTEYL Certification for Teaching English to Young Learners from the same institution in 2015. Prior to their university education, Joanie Maro studied Anthropology and Liberal Arts and Sciences at Cabrillo College, where they received an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they possess a certification in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) from the Appraisal Institute.
