Alexandra Schaffrath is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Strategy Officer at Ultimate Medical Academy where she oversees the strategic planning and business intelligence teams, which support enterprise planning and development, provide operational reporting, drive analytical initiatives and develop predictive models to improve student outcomes and identify areas of organizational improvement.
Prior to joining UMA in January 2012, Schaffrath served as Vice President of Development at Laureate Education. She has also held leadership positions with Career Education and served in analytical and consulting roles with Bear Stearns & Co. and KPMG, LLP.
Schaffrath has a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, UMA offers content-rich, interactive online courses as well as hands-on training at our Clearwater campus. Our students also have access to academic advising, one-on-one tutoring, résumé and interview coaching, job search assistance, technical support and more.
